In Koiwai Farm’s unique poultry housing with terrace, chickens are freely walking around under the sunshine, and cocks and hens live together. In relation to feedstuff, animal materials such as fats, meat-and-bone meal, and fish meal are not used as their odor affects eggs. Instead, safe and high quality vegetable materials containing calcium are used. At the same time, antioxidant phaffia yeast is fed to the chickens.
From extrication, breeding, egg laying, washing, selection of eggs, and packing to shipping, the consistent production quality control system has been introduced. As specialized staff conduct thorough quality control and sanitation management in each process, the eggs are also excellent in safety.
