Sayama-cha of Araien Honten which has its own tea garden and tea factory
Sayama-cha which is a special product of Saitama is counted as one of the Japan's three major teas alongside Shizuoka-cha and Uji-cha. As with the Chatsumi-uta "the best colored tea is Shizuoka-cha, the best flavored tea is Uji-cha, the tea with the best taste is Sayama-cha”, Sayama-cha grows up in a cold place of the economic northern limit and loved due to its characteristics of the rich strong taste and the good balance of astringency and sweetness.
Thick tea leaves unique to Sayama-cha go through "Hiire" at the finishing stage, but this is a technique for enhancing the preservability by adding heat to dry sufficiently and improving the taste and scent at the same time. Also in Sayama, the unique heating method called "Sayama Hiire" is carried out to create the rich scent and taste of Sayama-cha.

"Ten no Tsuyu" is a refined tea which was supervised by an award-winning Chashi. Sencha made from young leaves which were picked by hand carefully and rolled. You can enjoy mild sweetness and fresh aroma of fresh green. It is recommended with a wood box for a gift.

"Amaterasu" is maccha tea with gold leaves, which was presented to the Pope for the first time in the history of Japanese tea.
