Miyajima (Momijidani Park)

Miyajima, a scenic island known for Itsukushima Shrine (world cultural heritage) and Mt. Misen, is one of Japan’s Three Major Scenery. If you climb Mt. Misen by a ropeway shuttling to and from Momijidani Park, you will find a panoramic scene looking over the Seto Inland Sea, which Hirobumi Ito praised, “The true value of Three Major Scenes of Japan is in the view from the summit.”
