Kajibashi
In the very center of Takayama, Kajibashi Bridge connects the two streets Yasukawa Dori and Kokubunji Dori.
Statues of Tenaga and Ashinaga are installed on the parapets of the bridge. Is is said that they were modeled after two gods that appear in the divine myth of Izumo, Tenazuchi and Ashinazuchi.
Many visitors to Takayama stop at this fmaous spot to admire the charming expression of these statues.
